If you have travelled to the northernmost parts of Swedish Lapland, the Silverfallet waterfall is a place not to be missed. Follow the thundering path of Rakkasjokken down from the mountain into lake Torneträsk and enjoy the sight of the last steep fall into the lake. At the foot of Silverfallet, the rocks are softly rounded, ground smooth by sparkling clear mountain water. The Silverfallet waterfall is located about three kilometres from Hotel Fjället in Björkliden. Follow the path straight down from the hotel and down along the stream, then enjoy the view of the Lapponian Gate on the way. The path is quite steep, and if it has been raining, it can be slippery in places, so be careful! kirunalapland.se
